A Message from Cassandra Clare
Greetings, Shadowhunter Army!
After the events of Nothing but Shadows, James Herondale struggled with the shadow power that had driven him to leave the Shadowhunter Academy.
Feeling like an outcast, he turned to his Uncle Jem—at that point known as Brother Zachariah—for help. Jem worked with James to help him gain control over his forays into shadow, and most importantly, to be able to prevent them.
Happy reading!
